The Hall & Angus Workplace Academy
The Hall & Angus Workplace Academy (H&A-WA) provides a range of workplace specific qualifications. The qualifications are equivalent to:
- Post Graduate Certificate (PGC)
- Post Graduate Diploma (PGD)
- MBA Degree
- MSc Degrees.
Choose any one of the three 20 credit modules as a standalone Level 7 subject or to commence your PGC. On succesful completion of the three 20 credit modules you will have your PG Cert Level qualification.
Moving onto your PGD by commencing one of the two 30 credit modules, or studying a module as a standalone Level 7 subject. On succesful completion of both 30 credit modules you have your PG Dip Level qualification.
Finally your Masters Degree Level qualification is attained by succesfully completing your 60 credit Dissertation across the 5 modules showing how you apply them to your profession or sector.
The Workplace Substance Misuse qualifications available are:

|Drug Testing and Toxicology in the Workplace.||Level 7 standalone or as 1 of 3 in PG Cert||20 credits level 7||Mandatory|
|Building and Managing an Employee Assistance Programme and how to manage employees through it.||Level 7 standalone or as 1 of 3 in PG Cert||20 credits level 7||Mandatory|
|Workplace Substance Misuse Policy Writing and identifying a workplace culture within the build of a complete Substance Misuse Management Programme (SMMP).||Level 7 standalone or as 1 of 2 in PG Diploma||30 credits level 7||Mandatory|
|Investigating Workplace Substance Misuse and its correlation to criminality as well as the criminality itself. Auditing of both.||Level 7 standalone or as 1 of 2 in PG Diploma||30 credits level 7||Mandatory|
|Dissertation across all 5 modules and how to apply them to your profession or sector. This will render the MSc as profession and/or sector specific.||Level 7 dissertation||60 credits level 7||Optional to sector or profession or both|
The H&A-WA is the examining and awarding body providing this on-line learning capability for those individuals wanting to change profession or gain additional qualifications and giving them an advantage in their current roles. The courses are provided globally, allowing the student to:
- Start when they want and finish when they want
- Earn while they learn
- Access employer assisted financing
- Pay their own private subscription
- Gain an advantage in their own profession
- Change to a new profession
Additional courses will be made available to training organisations / sectors as well as apprenticeships in a new qualification of Managing Workplace Substance and Alcohol Misuse, a qualification for wellbeing practitioners.
If a student already has CPD or other accredited training not originated by the H&A-WA, they can be assessed for relevant competency and awarded equivalent credits to a higher qualification within the H&A-WA

- Logistics & Warehousing
- Commercial Investigations
